Why is my Steam quest not verifying?

GAM3S.GG uses Steam account data to verify certain quest actions, such as account linking, playtime tracking, and wishlisting.

If your Steam related quest is not verifying, follow the steps below.

Steam account linking is not verifying

If a quest does not verify after linking your Steam account:

1. Go to your profile on GAM3S.GG

2. Unlink your Steam account

3. Refresh the page

4. Link your Steam account again

5. Return to the quest and try again

This resolves most Steam linking issues.

Steam hours played is not verifying

If a quest that checks hours played is not verifying, confirm the following:

• Your Steam profile privacy settings are set to Public

• Your game playtime is visible on your Steam profile

If your profile is private or friends-only, GAM3S.GG cannot access the data required to verify the quest.

After updating your privacy settings, return to the quest and attempt the mission again.

Steam wishlist quest is not verifying

If a quest that checks wishlisting is not verifying, make sure:

• Your Steam profile privacy settings are set to Public

• The game was successfully added to your Steam wishlist

Private profiles prevent wishlist verification.

Once your profile is public, return to the quest and retry the mission.
