Connect ChatGPT

Add GAMES.GG as a custom app in ChatGPT on the web.

Add GAMES.GG on chatgpt.com. Custom apps work on the web only, not in the phone app.

Before you start

You need developer mode. It is available on ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu, and on Pro. OpenAI does not list Plus or Free.

  • Pro: open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  • Enterprise or Edu: an admin first allows it under Workspace Settings, then Permissions & Roles, then Connected Data, with Developer mode / Create custom MCP connectors. Then open your own Settings, then Apps, then Advanced Settings, and turn it on.
  • Business: only an admin or owner can use developer mode. They open User Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.

Add GAMES.GG

  1. Open Settings, then Apps, then Create. Admins can start from Workspace settings, then Apps, then Create.
  2. Name it GAMES.GG and enter https://mcp.games.gg/mcp.
  3. Choose the OAuth sign-in option the form offers. Do not paste a token or password.
  4. Select Scan Tools. Sign in on GAMES.GG and approve the connection.
  5. Select Create.

Ask

In a new chat, select GAMES.GG from the tools menu, or type @GAMES.GG. Then ask:

  • "Help me beat Malenia in Elden Ring."
  • "Show me PC deals under 20 dollars."
  • "What are the most anticipated games this year?"

The selection applies to one message. Select GAMES.GG again for a follow-up question. See What you can ask for more.

More details

  • If Create never appears on Pro, use a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace where an admin has turned on developer mode.
  • A new app shows the label Dev under Settings, then Apps, then Enabled Apps. In a workspace, an admin can publish it for everyone from Workspace settings, then Apps, then Drafts, then Publish.
  • After a GAMES.GG update, a workspace admin may need to select Refresh on the app.
  • To remove it, use the removal control on the app under Enabled Apps, or under Workspace settings, then Apps. If there is none, ask a workspace admin to remove the app.
