Connect Codex

Connect Codex to GAMES.GG. In a terminal, run:

codex mcp add games-gg --url https://mcp.games.gg/mcp
codex mcp login games-gg

Sign in to GAMES.GG when Codex asks. Approve the connection on the GAMES.GG page.

Ask

Start Codex and ask:

• "What PS5 games come out next week?"
• "Find a beginner guide for Monster Hunter Wilds."
• "What's on sale on GOG right now?"

More details

• Codex may answer game questions with web search even when GAMES.GG is connected. This is a known limitation in our Codex tests.
• In the ChatGPT desktop app or the Codex IDE extension, open Settings (in the IDE, the gear menu), then MCP servers, then Add server. Name it games-gg, choose Streamable HTTP, enter https://mcp.games.gg/mcp, save, select Restart (in the IDE, Restart extension), then Authenticate.
• Type /mcp in Codex to see connected servers.
• To disconnect your account, run codex mcp logout games-gg. To remove the server, run codex mcp remove games-gg.
